Telnyx setup
Connect your own Telnyx account so calls run at Telnyx's own rate, directly on your account — no markup, no shared account. Fill these fields into Settings → Calling → Telnyx.
Get an API key
In the Telnyx portal, go to API Keys and create a new key. Copy it into the API Key field in Fonemonk.
Create a TeXML Application
Go to Voice → TeXML Applications → Create Application. Set Voice Method to Webhook, and set the Voice URL to:
https://api.fonemonk.com/api/v1/phone/telnyx-incoming-callSave it, then copy the Application's ID into the TeXML Application ID field in Fonemonk.
Get a phone number
Buy a number under Numbers → Buy Numbers (or use one you already have), and assign it to the TeXML Application you just created. Enter the number in E.164 format (e.g. +15551234567) into the Phone Number field in Fonemonk.
Agent Desktop browser softphone (optional)
Only needed if agents will take calls through the in-browser softphone. Go to Voice → SIP Trunking → Create SIP Connection, choose type Credentials. This is a separate resource from the TeXML Application above — copy its ID into Credential Connection ID in Fonemonk.
SMS phone verification (optional)
Only needed if you use SMS-based phone verification. Go to Identity → Verify Profiles, create a profile, and copy its ID into Verify Profile ID in Fonemonk.
Save
Back in Fonemonk, click Save Calling Settings. Once saved, set Telnyx as your default provider under Default Provider to start using it.
